Air Scrubber
Air scrubber, also known as an air purifier or air cleaner, is a device used to remove contaminants, pollutants, allergens, and odors from the air in indoor spaces. Air scrubbers are commonly used in residential, commercial, and industrial settings to improve indoor air quality and create a healthier and more comfortable environment for occupants.
Air Filtration System : The core component of an air scrubber is its filtration system, which consists of one or more filters designed to capture airborne contaminants. Different types of filters may be used depending on the specific contaminants targeted for removal, such as dust, pollen, pet dander, smoke, VOCs (volatile organic compounds), and bacteria.
HEPA Filter : Many air scrubbers are equipped with HEPA (High-Efficiency Particulate Air) filters, which are capable of capturing particles as small as 0.3 microns with a high efficiency rate (typically 99.97%). HEPA filters are highly effective at removing fine particulate matter, allergens, and microorganisms from the air.
