Wet Kitchen Scrubber

A wet kitchen scrubber, also known as a wet scrubber or wet air scrubber, is a type of air pollution control device used to remove contaminants, particulates, gases, and odors from industrial exhaust streams or wet kitchen scrubbers. In the context of commercial kitchens, a wet kitchen scrubber is specifically designed to capture and remove grease, smoke, odors, and other airborne pollutants generated during cooking processes.

Capture Hood : Similar to other kitchen exhaust systems, a wet kitchen scrubber begins with a capture hood installed above cooking appliances such as stoves, grills, fryers, and ovens. The capture hood captures and contains airborne contaminants, grease, and smoke emitted during cooking.

Grease Filters : Grease filters, also known as baffle filters or grease baffles, are installed within the capture hood to capture grease particles from the airstream. These filters are designed with baffles or fins that allow grease-laden air to pass through while trapping grease particles, preventing them from entering the rest of the wet kitchen scrubber.
